Rent a Car for the Weekend

I’ll make a confession to the millions of you who loyally read this blog each and every day. I don’t own a car. There, I said it.

Now that I have gotten that out of the way, let me tell you that not owning a car can be a bit of a drag when you want to get away for the weekend. Walking can only take you so far and riding a bus can be borderline torture. Hitting friends up for rides is a great way to lose friends.

One simple solution is to rent a car for a couple of days. Rates are usually higher on the weekend, but for the next few months that isn’t the case at Budget rental cars. With those types of prices, there really isn’t much excuse to pack the bags and take a three-day weekend. Go ahead and call in sick to work on Friday. Consider this blog to be a note from your doctor.
