Luxury Travel Deals
Whether you’re the kind of person who typically travels in a luxe style or not, sometimes you feel the need to indulge yourself at a luxury resort. But unless your luxury travel dreams come with an expense account, what you really need to hunt for are luxury travel deals.
Luckily, luxury travel doesn’t always come with a high price tag. If you’re a little patient and you know where to look, you can find great luxury travel deals. Now, you’re still usually going to pay more for these trips than if you stayed at a hostel – it’s not like you can have a 5-star experience for a 1-star price (at least not usually). But you can have a 5-star experience for a 3-star price sometimes, and that can be enough to feel like you won the lottery.
When you’re looking for luxury travel deals, there are a few things to keep in mind in order to get the best deals.
All Inclusive Travel Deals
While one of the biggest benefits to booking an all inclusive trip is that they often mean you’re saving money on each component – airfare, hotel, car rental, etc. – that doesn’t mean you have to settle for whatever the first site you visit tells you is a good deal. With so many booking sites out there and the ability to easily search them, there’s no reason not to shop around to find the best all inclusive travel deals you can.
Last Minute Resort Deal Resources
When the mood strikes for a last minute vacation, often it’s because you just need a break – so the last thing you want to spend time doing is researching your trip. You just want to find a trip you like, click “buy,” then concentrate on getting on a plane and getting wherever you’re going. Which is why last minute resort deals are so popular.
With last minute resort deals, you don’t have to plan a thing. These all-inclusives can meet all your needs, and it’s all within easy reach. From where you sleep to where you eat to even what you’ll do during the day, you’re taken care of. And sometimes that’s all you want.
So if you’re looking for a last minute resort deal, here are some places to check.

Family Travel Deals
When many of us were kids, “family travel” meant piling everyone into the van with a tent and heading to a campground for a few days, hitting a National Park or two during summer break, or maybe spending some time at the closest beach each year. The concept of “family travel” has evolved quite a bit in the last few decades to include different kinds of trips – and, therefore, different kinds of families.
One thing that’s stayed the same, however, is that taking a whole family on a trip is more expensive than when you backpacked solo around Europe or did that college road-trip with your buddies, if for no other reason than you’ve got more people to think about – which translates into more airline tickets, more hotel beds, and more meals to buy. That, in turn, means it’s even more important to hunt for travel deals when you’re booking family trips.
We’ve posted a series of articles on this site recently that we think will help you plan a family trip without breaking the bank. You can consider this the “table of contents” to those articles, as they’re all linked below so you can find them easily.
Finding Adventure Travel Deals for Families
The words “adventure travel” might conjure up ideas for trips that you wouldn’t think would be very family-friendly, but there are definitely family adventure trips that are great for all ages. Of course, you know your family best, and will be the best judge of what activities your kids will be able to handle or how interested your family will be in any given activity. But the good news is that there’s a huge variety in the kinds of family adventure trips that are out there for you to choose from – and the definition of “adventure” is pretty broad, too.
For some people, a trip might not be an adventure trip if it didn’t include sleeping in a tent, peeing in the woods, or buying specialty gear for things like absailing or hang gliding. But luckily for traveling families, the definition of “adventure trip” can also include activities like day-hikes, cycling tours, guided rafting trips, and ski trips – and many more family-friendly activities besides that.
Finding family adventure travel deals can be as simple as booking a cheap family adventure vacation package trip or as complicated as doing all the research yourself and booking everything you need separately. The former is far easier and typically comes with on-the-ground support, and the latter offers a great deal more flexibility. Which option is right for you is something only you can decide – but here are some things to think about.
All Inclusive Family Package Travel Deals: What to Consider
While some people consider travel planning to be half the fun of travel, if you’re planning a trip for a family group it’s often that much nicer when you can get things done more quickly and with fewer steps. It’s not a research project you’re always looking for, after all – sometimes you really just want a vacation. Which is one of the many reasons all-inclusive package trips are so popular for family travel.
But it’s important to remember that just because a package trip calls itself “all-inclusive” doesn’t mean it will be cheap, or even that everything is included! When you’re hunting for all-inclusive family package travel deals, you need to make sure you know what the details are before you get too excited or hit the “buy” button. Here are some of the things to look for when you’re considering all-inclusive family package trips.

March Madness: NCAA Tournament Travel Deals
You don’t have to be a huge fan of college basketball to know it’s March Madness time – from the constant barrage of advertising to the office pools, it’s kind of hard to miss. But you have to be a certain kind of dedicated fan to actually go the games live – right?
Not necessarily.
Some sports are easier to watch on TV, but basketball is one that is enhanced by being in the arena during the games. And when the stakes are as high as the NCAA Championship, the atmosphere just can’t permeate a television screen. So whether or not your team is a Cinderella team that just feels lucky to have made the playoffs, one of the Final Four, or somewhere in between, seeing the NCAA March Madness games in person is a great experience.
The trouble is that if you’re waiting to see where your team is playing (or if your team advances) before you make travel plans, you could get caught out. Last-minute travel is notoriously expensive, so obviously you’re better off booking as soon as you possibly can. We’re here to help, too, with some links to help you find the best deals on trips to the various cities hosting the NCAA tournament games this year.
