Hawaiian Airlines is the 11th largest commercial airline in the United States. It is based in Honolulu CDP, City and County of Honolulu and its main hub is at Honolulu International Airport.

The company was founded in 1929, as Inter-Island Airways. In 1941 the name changed to Hawaiian Airlines. The company currently serves 19 destinations in several Asia-Pacific countries and territories.

Hawaiian provides both complimentary and paid beverage service on all flights. On the US mainland and international flights, the company provides free meals in coach made with no preservatives, all-natural ingredients and packaged with recyclable materials. Premium meals are also available for coach passengers (for a fee). The first class passengers choose up to three entrees from the tasting menu€ – as part of their in- flight meal.

Their frequent flyer program is called HawaiianMiles. Members can redeem the miles accumulated for tickets, upgrade service class or get free or discounted car rentals, hotel stays, merchandise, or other products and services through partners.
