Air France goes all over Europe, not just to France

Regular readers of this column know how fond I am of Air France, so I like to point out when they have some really good fares to Europe: The lowest available Air France fares are here.

Many people see the name and assume that they only fly into France, but they can take you anywhere in Europe, and they have excellent food on all trans-Atlantic flights compared to the other airlines. In some cases you’ll have to change planes in Paris, but thanks to that recent change in laws they can fly you directly into London or Rome.

There are other ways of getting good deals on airfare to Rome, but none that come included with Michelin-star-quality food, and those cool little bottles of high quality wine that the flight attendant gives you to shut you up if you keep asking them miscellaneous questions. If you just keep asking them for wine they will cut you off early, but if you tell them you have anxiety issues and then keep calling them over asking ridiculous things, they’ll often come through with bottle after bottle of wine to keep you from getting any worse. This doesn’t work on every airline, but usually on Air France, so it’s worth a shot.
