Beach vacations are on sale, and not a moment too soon

The weather is heating up all over, so many of us are thinking of booking a trip on the beach somewhere. The fine people at Expedia have just blessed us with a pretty nice sale: Book your Beach Travel on Expedia.com: Plan a sunny, sandy escape!
They’ve got good trips to Hawaii, Florida, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and just about every other place that has hotels or resorts on beaches. With the exchange rate situation being what it is, it’s nice to see that packages to Mexico are still mighty cheap for Americans. People tend to think of Mexico more as a winter destination, but that’s exactly why it’s such an affordable place the rest of the year. The weather is similar in summer, and hurricanes are quite rare, especially on the west coast.
Trying to put together your own vacation package can be tricky. You can often find cheap flights to Florida, but no good deals on hotels. Or you can find cheap hotels in Myrtle Beach, but no cheap flights. Using one of these travel sites takes care of those problems for you because they can strong arm the airlines and hotels to coordinate their efforts. I think it’s more the threat of violence rather than actually having to bust these places up. Whatever it is, it seems to be working.
