Combat the weak US dollar with a cheap vacation in the States this year

By wade | Permalink | February 27th, 2008

Hawaii tikiI get many e-mails each day asking for advice about how to deal with the relatively weak US dollar this year. I rarely reply to them, but here’s the answer anyway: This is an ideal year to stay closer to home and Southwest Vacations has some great deals for you. Check out Southwest Airlines Vacations’ destinations. Find affordable air/hotel packages to exciting destinations from coast to coast.

If you are like me you probably got bored reading that link text up until you got to the word “exciting”. You also may not have realized that there were so many exciting destinations here in the US and A, but there is. Take Las Vegas, for example. Where else could you double or even triple your kids’ college fund and then stuff yourself at the seafood buffet just an hour later?

How about Hawaii for exciting? When I visited as a child I found a sacred tiki idol, which nearly got my brother killed in a surfing contest. We returned the idol to a guy in a cave so it had a happy ending. Come to think of it, that might have been too much excitement, but it’s fun to think back about it these days.
