Coupon Code fans, it’s time to rejoice

Most of the regular readers of this column already know that these credit card-related codes are our most powerful weapon to get additional savings. You can find the best deal you can on Travelocity’s vacation section, and then get $50 extra off just by entering this code and using the right credit card.

They must lose money on these codes when people like us use them, but evidently the people who can’t pay off their credit cards make them enough in extra interest that it’s still worthwhile when you add us all up. I almost feel guilty about using this code, but I quickly get over that. Liberal guilt is a waste of time in this competitive world. Some of you may feel sorry for Travelocity, but I don’t. I feel slightly sorry for the roaming gnome because I hear he’s kind of sick of all this traveling at this point, but as far as the company is concerned, they have only themselves to blame.
