Cruises keep getting cheaper

While I am personally not a big fan of cruises or cruising vacations, I haven’t been able to help but notice the plethora of absolutely fantastic deals on cruises out there right now. While it is certainly no secret that the struggling economy has been hard on the travel industry, it seems cruise lines are having to practically give away spots on their ships to keep people cruising through the recession. This includes specials on Carnival with 3-4 day cruises starting at just $129 and offers for up to $240 cash back when you book online. Spectacular “Fun Ship” Cruise Specials
While most of the insane cruise deals seem to be for Caribbean cruises, Cheap Caribbean is also offering 10-day Hawaii cruise packages starting at just $799 (includes 2 night stay in Honolulu and Honolulu city tour). If you’d rather go somewhere a little chillier, Cheap Caribbean is also advertising a 7 night Alaska Cruise starting at just $449. I always said if I ever did a cruise it would be to Alaska, and with rates at under $500 for a week-long trip, I may just even be able to afford it now.
Royal Caribbean is offering up a great deal on a 5 night Caribbean cruise starting at just $449. The cruise starts in For Lauderdale and has stops in Key West, Cozumel and Belize. 3 countries for less than $500 (and an all-you-can-eat buffet)? Score.
Other Cruise Deals
3-night Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line starting $199
7-night Southern Caribbean Cruise starting at $599
12-night Baltic Capitals from London starting at $849
