Europe doesn’t have to break the bank this summer

If you’ve been pricing trips to Europe this summer you know things look crazy expensive, but things are not hopeless because an affordable trip starts with cheap airfare: Lowest International Airfares Economy Travel

Economy Travel is one of the cheapest places to get trans-Atlantic flights, so that’s a good place to start. Once you’ve got that out of the way you’ll need to figure out where you’ll be sleeping, and with the exchange rate thing you’ll find that hotels are crazy expensive this year. The good news is that there are plenty of hostels in Europe where you can get a cheap bed in a dorm room, or an almost-as-cheap bed in a private room at one of the hostels.

You also might want to forget about London, because that city is always outrageously expensive, and there are better places. You could go to Paris or Amsterdam for less money, and if you choose the latter you could visit one of the famous Amsterdam coffeeshops. After a few hours there you won’t remember how expensive everything is. You can drink plenty of cheap wine in Paris to accomplish the same thing, so the choice is yours.
