Grand Bahamas, modest price

I know the Bahamas is already one of the cheaper Caribbean island chains, so this discount is a pretty big deal. My knowledge of the Bahamas consists mostly of what I heard in the aftermath of Anna Nicole Smith’s death, and of course that horrible song “Who Let the Dogs Out” by the Baha Men. I’m trying to not hold either of those things against the place, and I suggest you do the same.

The weather is perfect all winter in the Bahamas, and here it’s so cold that I can see my breath, even when I’m indoors. When is this global warming stuff finally supposed to kick in, anyway? The Bahamas isn’t actually on top of my list of Caribbean places I’d like to visit, but I hear it’s the cheapest, so it’s the most realistic spot for me. They were Christopher Columbus’ first stop, so they might as well be mine too. I’ll see you there.
