Great travel deals to Austin, Texas

Jet Blue recently caused a big stir in the travel industry when they announced they would be offering an all-you-can-fly pass for $599 that would allow travelers to fly an unlimited number of times from September 8-October 8. The pass sold out before the promotion ended, leaving many industry insiders left wondering if other airlines would follow suit and offer a similar unlimited air travel pass. Because following and keeping up with the latest travel deals is part of my job, I keep my eyes peeled for deals that I can also take advantage of. This happened last spring when I was pinged about an outrageously cheap airfare to Austin, Texas, a place I had never been to, but had long wanted to go. After convincing my friend on the east coast that meeting me in Austin would be a great idea, we booked a cheap hotel in Austin, packed our cowboy boots and headed for weekend in the Lone Star state.

I am certainly not the only person who has enjoyed spending time in Austin.
