Happy Valentine’s Day! Paris anyone?

Many people consider me the cupid of travel writers because so many couples have met each other on these trips I write about. It really makes me feel good when I get another e-mail describing how a person’s life is now complete thanks to them taking the trip I suggested. And all the wedding invitations are nice as well. I now own 4 different tuxedos because the different weddings often have a theme where a special kind of tux is needed.

My other suggestion is to buy the tickets to Paris today, but pretend that you don’t even realize it’s Valentine’s Day today. Then, when your partner is weeping over in the corner you can walk over with the printout of your e-tickets, and everything will be fine. Your partner will appreciate it even more if you torture them for a while before revealing it. But it’s up to you.
