It’s not too late to get a great Labor Day travel deal

Labor Day is just around the corner, and for those who have been putting off booking a trip for the long weekend, it’s not too late to score a great last-minute travel deal for the upcoming holiday weekend. I wrote last week about how Labor Day travel deals were abound, and for many, it’s still not too late to score a great last-minute travel deal for the holiday weekend. While Southwest is offering up some great deals on cheap flights and vacation packages, they aren’t the only ones rolling out sales for the upco9ming 3-day weekend. The Los Angeles Times did a great run-down on some of the best Labor Day weekend travel deals—which includes deals in Denver, Las Vegas, San Francisco and more.

Lucky for travelers, airlines and hotels aren’t the only ones rolling out deals on cheap airfare and cheap hotel rooms. Some of the major travel booking sites are also offering their own specials. This includes Priceline, which is now offering 50% off Labor Day escapes. If you book within the next couple of days, you could also still take advantage of their End of Summer Vacation sale, which can save you $125 off a 7-night vacation package and $75 off a 4-night package.

Expedia is also having a huge sale on Mexico vacation packages right now—with flight + 4 nights at an all-inclusive resort starting at just $470. There are also more huge markdowns on cheap hotels in Cancun over the holiday weekend and there are plenty of opportunities to score a cheap ticket to Mexico during this time of year (fall is hurricane season in Mexico, which makes for some pretty incredible deals).
