More free money for coupon-code fans

As I mentioned recently, the response to our Coupon Code Mondays has been mind-blowing so I found an extra special coupon code this week as a way to celebrate: $25 Off Any Package (2+ travelers) - COUPON CODE: SAVELASTMIN25

It would surprise me if the response to this didn’t crash most of Travelocity’s reservation computers, so don’t wait too long. I’m pretty sure they have a complicated redundancy system set up so new servers can go online shortly after the old ones explode, so chances are if you hit the refresh button on your browser a couple of times you’ll be connected again.

From what I can see, this deal allows you to find the best last-minute deal you can find in that section, and then take another $25 per person off that deal, just for typing that coupon code in. How awesome is that? It’s like wearing down a merchant for a bargain that puts them just a few cents from losing money on it, then you pull out at $25 coupon on top of that. Take that, merchant!

For $25 you can buy a cheap pair of sunglasses in your eventual destination, and you’ll still have enough money for one of those giant Toblerone bars at the Duty Free shop on your way back home. Those always look delicious, but I could never have afforded one in the past. Let’s all sign a thank-you card to Travelocity, but let’s get a cheap one so we don’t blow too much of our savings.
