Ooh la la, let’s go to France!

I very nearly fell out of my seat when I came across this deal: Unbelievably low fares on Air France right here.

The main reason I didn’t actually fall out of my seat is that this particular office chair has really high sides, so don’t let that make you think this deal isn’t the kind that totally makes you lose your balance, because it is.

Fans of this column know that the only thing I love more than low fares are unbelievably low fares. And when those unbelievably low fares are to a place like France, I have trouble keeping my hands still long enough to type my credit card details in the thing on the website.

You may have heard the statistic that France is the most-visited country on earth, and even though that’s kind of a misleading fact, the country does deserve all the attention it gets. If I had a small country I would also put it right in the center of a bunch of other rich small countries, so tons of people would visit my country just to get from one of those other countries to another. And I’d probably go to Paris late one night and unbolt the Eiffel Tower from its base and take it away to my own country before the sun came up.

I’m not saying I’m actually going to do this, but you might want to think about going to France while the Eiffel Tower is still there, just in case.
