Pssst, this deal is just between you and me

People often ask me if there are perks to writing this column. The truth is I often get “insider” information, but I usually can’t write about it here. Well, in this case I can: Expedia Insiders’ Select: The ultimate list of the world’s best hotels and resorts only at Expedia.com!

I’m pretty sure I’m not going to get in trouble for sharing this one, but regular readers of this column know I get in trouble from these travel companies all the time anyway.

As a matter of fact, I’m writing today’s column just after I finished standing in the corner for 30 minutes because I gave out that coupon code yesterday. It was worth it to me, and no amount of petty discipline will keep me from sharing these tips with my readers.

This particular one is a page full of Expedia’s top 1% of their hotels, by user ratings. They aren’t necessarily the cheapest hotels in these cities, but they are some of the best and they usually provide good value as well. Go ahead, stick it to the man by booking one of those hotels! They’ll never be able to stop us!
