I’ve got a raging headache as I write this, which makes thinking of a relaxing afternoon spent on a Hawaiian beach, getting ready to watch the sunset, mai thai in hand sound pret-ty damn appealing. Add on top of the idyllic scene some great deals on Hawaii vacation packages, and you’ve got yourself a recipe for a pretty kickass vacation. In fact, right now you can save $250 if you book your vacation through United. SAVE up to $250 to Hawaii!

While deals to Hawaii seemed to be too good to be true this spring, with airfares to Honolulu starting at as little as $300 round-trip, you may have to hunt a little harder this fall to find a great deal to the isles. However, while fall is typically a good time to find good travel deals, according to a Boston Globe article finding deeply discounted fares could take a little more hunting this year. That being said, there are seemingly plenty of Hawaii deals out there right now, where you can find goo airfares to the archipelago from both the East and West Coast.
If you already have money budgeted out for a fall vacation and are looking for a way to stretch your dollar further or get a bigger bang for your buck, there are more tricks to saving money than just scoring a cheap air ticket. Wendy Perrin, over at Conde Naste Traveler has a great deal listed at the Four Seasons Hualalai, which is giving $1000 in resort credits when you book a minimum 4-night stay at the hotel. While you may be thinking, “but what am I going to do with a grand in resort credit? Drink at the restaurant bar the whole time?” But, what’s great about this $1000 resort credit is that it can be used towards the cost of your room and any incidentals. This means, if you book a “golf ocean-view room” for four nights and apply the $1,000 credit, the price of $815 per night drops to $565 per night including taxes and resort charges–or 30% off.
