Save $50 on hotel stays of three nights or more

If I were to hand you $50, what would you do with it? You could head down to the local pub and buy 10 really expensive microbrews or 20 cheap beers. You could head to the gas station and pump a tank of gas, assuming you don’t drive one of those tanks I see around town. You could also buy a 30-year treasury bond and hope that you live long enough for it to come to maturity.

The options are endless when you are handed free money and that is essentially what Cheap Tickets is doing this summer with their hotel promotion. They will knock $50 off the price of any number of hotels if you book a room for at least three nights. The only catch is that you have to book a room by July 8, 2007 for travel between June 4 and September 3, 2007. That isn’t much of a catch at all considering those are the summer travel dates.

One final option for your $50. Donate it to a charitable organization that is doing work you support. There are a lot of good people doing good things to make our communities and our world a better place and they could use our support.
