Save big at the last possible second

By wade | Permalink | December 12th, 2007

vacationAnyone who knows me knows that I love big savings like Tyra Banks loves talking about herself. So just imagine my reaction when this offer came across my desk - Save up to 70% on last second travel deals!

That’s right, I literally fell out of my chair. I also sprained my wrist in the process, so I’m now working on a rudimentary seatbelt system for this office chair I use. I’ll keep you posted on that, but in the meantime the important news is that as long as you are prepared to travel soon, you can save a ton of money on certain trips.

In addition to the big savings, there is something really fun about last minute travel. It’s like, one minute you are at home watching your “Who’s The Boss” Season Two Collector’s Edition DVD, and moments later you are bounding out the door for a flight to a place that evidently has a lot of empty rooms right now. And it’s like you are helping to keep some struggling resort in business in the process. When you get there you can probably take advantage of them and ask for all kinds of crazy stuff for free, because they’ve already shown their desperation just by slashing the price to have you there. Pretty sweet, eh?
