Save Miles with Off-Peak Travel Awards

It seems like you can get miles today for everything - staying at a hotel, dining, even paying for a dog wash! With ‘get ‘em quick’ miles like that, it’s no wonder that the miles required for a ticket are climbing.
We were looking through our American Airlines frequent flyer email today and came across a few things of note - especially where they pointed out tha travel during off-peak time periods can save up to 20,000 miles per award! Since round-trip tickets are standard at 25,000 miles, that’s quite a savings indeed!
Missing some miles? We also noticed this promotion is about to end - For a limited time, you can reactivate some or all of the miles that have expired from your account and use them to claim awards. With this special offer, you can extend the life of expired miles and quickly boost your available mileage balance. This offer is available June 27, 2005 - June 30, 2006. Please allow 72 hours for the miles to post to your account.
