I have always been a fan of scoring great deals on great stuff. In fact, I usually make a bee line right for the sales rack at almost any store I walk into, love finding the very best happy hour specials and can rarely imagine going on a vacation being expected to pay full price. Especially in this current economy, even those not as sale and budget obsessed as I am can find big savings and great deals on all kinds of travel. If you are dying to go to Vegas or simply looking for a place where you are sure to find big discounts and great prices just about everywhere, than you’ll be pleased to hear that almost every hotel in Sin City is offering some kind of discount or added incentive this summer to encourage travelers to head to the city.
Ever stayed at the classically Vegas (as in, over-the-top) Excalibur? If not, you can take advantage of a 30% discount being offered for first-time guests. For stays now through Feb. 28, 2010, you must book by June 24 to secure these discounted rates. Rooms are as low as $27 per night for stays Monday through Thursdays in June and July, but starting rates for weekend nights are $69 to $116.
