Southwest Vacations is good at arranging cheap trips

Since half the people in the US are looking for cheaper vacations this year, Southwest is a better than average place to start the search: Southwest Airlines Vacations. Book air + hotel, add activities and save!

One of the things I really like about Southwest is everything they do is budget oriented so you know you are getting a pretty good deal. It’s almost like going to Costco or Sam’s Club in that whatever you see there you know it’s at a good price so you can make a purchase without worrying that you could have gotten it much cheaper elsewhere.

You can often get last minute flights at a discount elsewhere, but then you have to find a cheap hotel to match it with or the whole thing could end up costing you a fortune. I’ve nearly been suckered in to that trap a few times. For some reason, flights to Bermuda are often very cheap, but then you research to find there are no cheap hotels anywhere in the country. Southwest won’t leave you hanging like that, which is the one reason I tolerate those singing flight attendants and so forth.
