With all those destinations from which to choose, it’s like an embarrassment of riches. Many friends of mine had intended to go to Europe later this year, but with the exchange rate thing and the high airfares that isn’t looking so good. The smart money is headed to Mexico and the Caribbean, as long as you are careful about the whole hurricane season thing.

Some of my friends are choosing to vacation right here in the USA this year. My brother from Germany has booked his family into one of the Myrtle Beach hotels that are such a bargain compared to hotels in NYC, for example. Europeans are very fortunate at the moment because they can buy and sell most of the rest of the world with their over-inflated currency. We’ll get back at you for this, Europe!
