Student travel is really cheap if you use STA

Students near lockersOnce in a while I feel the need to point this out because I really don’t think enough people know about STA Travel. Europe this Spring from $169 RT*

Basically, if you can somehow prove you are a student (and there are a lot of ways to do that), you can get way lower fares than the rest of us. If you can prove you are a “teacher” you can get most of the same kick-ass deals too. I put teacher in parentheses because, again, there are several ways of getting on that train, not all of them having to do with getting a teaching degree and actually working directly with students.

If you are a student or teacher and you are not looking into STA Travel’s deals first then you probably deserve to be kicked out of your school or whatever. Seriously, they can somehow offer fares that are way lower than normal airlines. It’s just like when you go to a museum and you see that students get in for half price, even if they are the same age as you. Now imagine a whole travel agency set up for this purpose, and you get STA Travel. They don’t always have the lowest fares by far, but they do often enough that you should always check them first. Don’t make me have to come over there to rough you up just to get this message across, capiche?
