Super cheap summer airfares to France

I was lucky enough to be born into a family with not only French relatives (hooray for not paying for expensive Parisian hotel rooms), but also who loved to travel. Through much of my childhood, the end of the school year and warmer temperatures often meant an extended trip to France. Then I grew up, went to college and realized I had no money for high summer airfares to the land of crispy baguettes and 1,000 different kinds of cheese. Damn. Then along came the recession. Bam Pow Wow. I can afford to fly to Europe in the summer! Click here to find the best fares on Air France.
Then, just when I thought life couldn’t get any better (yes, the market’s down, but hello, cheap airfares to just about everywhere? Fantastic), I saw this great package to Paris and Greece with Air France. Staring at just $999, this package includes round-trip airfare on Air France, 3 nights in Paris, 3 nights in Athens, connecting flights between the two cities and all hotel and airline taxes and charges. Paris and Athens for less than a grand? Holler.
If Athens isn’t so much your scene and you’d rather spend your vacation time drinking wine and watching stylish Parisians, Virgin is also offering up some pretty red hot deals to the City of Lights, including one package that includes round-trip airfare and 6 nights stay in a hotel for just $649.
Other France deals:
NYC to Paris for $205 one-way or New York to Marseille for $205 one-way
Round-trip airfare NYC to Paris and 4 nights accommodation in your choice hotel $649
Los Angeles to Paris $237 one-way
