Surprise! We are heading to Hawaii, Coupon Code fans!

By wade | Permalink | June 2nd, 2008

Hawaii meadowFor this week we are back to Coupon Code Mondays, and I’ve found a really interesting code for you guys: Congratulate your new graduate with a surprise trip to Hawaii and save $150! (PROMO CODE: HAWLMD150)

For some reason Travelocity has made this deal into an offer where you are supposed to surprise a new graduate with a trip to Hawaii, but I’m pretty sure the code will work regardless of whether this trip will be a surprise or not, and I’m also pretty sure you don’t have to send a new graduate on this thing either. I figure the worst case scenario is that the airline would require at least one traveler to be wearing a cap and gown, but the more I think about it, that probably isn’t the case. Some people burn their cap and gown right after the graduation ends, so I don’t think they could enforce it effectively.

The surprise thing could be easily faked in case that becomes an issue. As long as at least one traveler has some basic acting background, you could even pretend that they didn’t know they were heading to Hawaii until the moment the ticket person asks to confirm it. Try it, and let me know how it goes.
