This offer is interesting even if you aren’t ready to book

Sweet hotelI tend to be a cheapskate so I tend to concentrate on the lowest priced hotels in the best neighborhoods I can afford, but sometimes it’s worthwhile to treat yourself a bit better so this compilation of the world’s best hotels is interesting to see: Expedia Insiders’ Select: The ultimate list of the world’s best hotels and resorts only at Expedia.com!

The people at Expedia have sorted their hotel and resort ratings to show only the top 1% of their inventory. Many of these places are on the expensive side of things, but not all of them, and that’s where it gets interesting. It proves you don’t have to spend a fortune in some cities to stay in one of the nicest hotels in that region.

Those who rush to book plane tickets to Italy and only concentrate on cheap hotels in Rome will usually end up in a 1 or 2-star hotel in the shadow of the Termini train station, and then they’ll regret not paying more attention when booking because this is kind of a hotel slum in that city. If you start with the best hotels and then go down the list until you find one you can afford, you’ll be certain of end up in a nice and well-located hotel. So stop being such a cheapskate, is what I’ll be saying to myself next time I book.
