Regular readers know that I’m not usually big on these all-inclusive vacations, but that’s mostly because I can’t afford them myself under normal circumstances. It’s much easier for me to make fun of them than it is for me to book one, so that’s been my strategy up until now. But things have changed, and I think at least a few of you are going to be seeing me down in Jamaica, mon!

I’ve heard of some really good cruise deals lately, but nothing that promises 50% off and free nights as well. I guess these Sandals resorts have difficulty keeping full during summer. People hear about the so-called hurricane season and they get freaked out. Those hurricanes are extremely rare, and when they do hit you always get many days notice anyway. It’s not even really a gamble. If you do want to gamble just book into one of the many Las Vegas hotels that has good deals during summer, and then play the slots.
