Vacation home rentals in Hawaii, elsewhere

HawaiiVacRentalsI came across a deal that said Cheap Hawaii Vacations! - Save up to 50% and it seemed almost too good to be true. Evidently this company has some great discounts on homes and condos for rent in Hawaii, but they also have place available in Florida, California, and Colorado.

Personally, I love to rent big places like this when I travel. I’ve never been to Hawaii (don’t laugh, I’ve been to Tahiti at least!) but I’ve heard that many people rent condos when they do visit the 50th State. When I’m on vacation I’m totally annoyed when the housecleaning people start banging on the door every 10 minutes like my room is on fire. When you rent a condo you don’t need to adjust your schedule to the insane rhythm of the cleaning crew. I can’t be the only one who stays up until 5 a.m. on vacation.

Many years ago some friends of mine went to Hawaii, and the younger brother, Bobby, found a little tiki in an ancient burial ground. He let his older brother, Greg, wear it in a surfing contest that suddenly seemed to come up, and Greg smashed head first into some rocks. It turned out he wasn’t hurt badly, but he still tried to blame his terrible surfing on that haunted tiki he was wearing. I wish I was there so I could have seen that in person, but I just had to hear the stories when they got back so I don’t know who to believe.
