Vacation packages actually seem to be getting cheaper

By wade | Permalink | July 10th, 2008

a night vegasThis is a strange year, my fellow travel enthusiasts. It seems like prices were insanely high on most everything as of a couple months ago, but now that the season has started the good deals are coming through big time: United Vacation Packages
We provide vacation destinations including the Caribbean, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Mexico and more.

That link information above doesn’t even begin to really explain what’s going on these days. Once you actually click over to the United Vacations page you’ll see that there is a whole slew of new offers at prices much lower than they advertised only a few weeks ago. For example, they are offering $175 off Las Vegas packages, which is yet another indicator that Sin City is not as full as they usually are about now.

Some friends of mine were thinking of going to Asia instead of Las Vegas because it actually seemed cheaper recently. Sure, there are discount hotels in Bangkok, but it takes like 2 full days to get there on the plane. And you also pretty much have to buy travel insurance for trips like that because you never know what’s going to happen. If I had that much time off I’d probably just hitchhike around the world or sail the seven seas or whatever.
