Vegas keeps getting cheaper

I have a love/hate relationship with Vegas. As much as I love it being socially acceptable to drink during the daylight hours and that it’s a place where booze and entertainment seems to take precedence over other things, I also have a little bit of trouble getting behind the sheer excess, triple digit temperatures and abundance of water features, green grass and fountains in the middle of the desert. That being said, despite its drawbacks, Vegas sure is one hell of a fun place to visit. Also, thanks to getting hit hard by the recession, there are also some absolutely screaming deals in Vegas right now. Southwest Airlines Vacations. Indulge for less with great rates on vacation packages to Las Vegas.
Since there are so many good deals and discounts to be found in Sin City, now is a great time to score a deal on cheap flights to Vegas, book a seriously discounted Vegas hotel, get some cheap Vegas show tickets and get ready for the weekend of your life. A town full of fabulous and renowned restaurants, all that money you save on your flight and hotel you can save for splurges at dinner time (or maybe even splurge and get Las Vegas show tickets for more than one show on the strip).
While almost every hotel on the strip has some sort of special offer going on now, according to the Los Angeles Times, there are plenty of great deals on cheap hotel rooms in Vegas right now. Mandalay Bay is offering up a Hot Summer Nights packages, with rooms starting at just $89/night and that INCLUDES a $25 dining credit to House of Blues Restaurant, $20 to be used at the beach. The boutique end of the hotel also has some hot deal happening right now, with rooms starting at $100/night, with a fly back free certificated ($350 value), $100 cabana credit and $25 to be used at the beach.
The New York Times is also reporting that there are some absolutely insane deals to be found at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas. According to the article, you can now stay in the Hard Rock’s new Paradise Tower starting at just $79/night midweek through August.
