Temperatures are still hot outside, but for many school is just around the corner, as is the symbolic end of summer and the start of fall. However, with the economy still suffering, there are still plenty of great summer travel deals out there prime for picking up. Or, if you are hoping to get a jumpstart and book your fall and winter travel now (which could save you big bucks later), now is also a great time to take advantage of the cheap air fares and cut-rate hotel rooms out there and save yourself some dollars for beers and fun wherever you end up on vacation. Some airlines even have specials they release for flights that upcoming weekend at ridiculously low prices. Frontier Airlines, for example, has Weekend web fares, which they release every Wednesday morning with sometimes incredible deals on flights to many destinations, especially in the west.
