These Coupon Code Mondays have been such a success that we temporarily blew out Travelocity’s website for a bit last week. They called me and pretended that they were really angry, but I have a feeling they were just yanking my chain. I know these coupon codes really cut into their profit margin, but I still have to think they are doing okay even if tons of people use them like has been happening lately.

Let’s not even think about that part. If Travelocity is operating at such a thin margin that when we all jump on these coupon codes we have a negative impact on the business, then they’ve got to get their house in order over there.

Sure, I’m slightly worried that the future coupon codes might not have these fantastic deals like they do now, but that’s totally out of our hands, coupon-code fans. And all those e-mails asking for a new Vegas code have made an impression on me. I don’t necessarily want this column to do requests like some lounge singer, but Vegas is Vegas so I was happy to do it this time. Enjoy!
