Southwest Flight Deals

Southwest Airlines is a low-cost American airline. By number of passengers carried per year, it is the largest airline in the world. It operates about 3,500 flights daily. It is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, adjacent to Love Field airport.

It doesn’t have a hub but the company’s focus cities are: Las Vegas, Chicago, Phoenix, Baltimore, Houston, Dallas, Denver, Oakland, Los Angeles and Orlando. It currently operates scheduled services to 68 destinations in 35 states. Typically, Southwest uses secondary airports in order to control costs. The company serves international flights indirectly, through their codeshare partners.

In early 1995, Southwest became one of the first airlines to have a website. Today, it constantly rejects syndicating its fares to fare search sites (such as Expedia and Orbitz). Southwest definitely do things a little differently, but their fans absolutely love them.
