Mexico City - Travel Deals

Arriba! Cheap Flights to Mexico in May

fiestaclusterss.jpgWith Cinco de Mayo fast approaching, many American are preparing themselves to be Mexican for a day. It is funny how the holiday may be more popular in the US than it is south of the border. That isn’t to say that those in Mexico don’t know how to party. If ever there was a place to have a grand old fiesta it is in Mexico.

You can party all of May with AeroMexico’s cheap flights to Mexico City and Guadalajara. These are as cheap of prices I have seen on flights to Mexico for the past year and, believe me, I have been monitoring these flights because I would like to travel to Mexico in the near future.

Why Mexico? In addition to the fine cervezas and tortillas, I’d like to explore the anthropology museum in Mexico City, do some hiking in the mountains, see some ruins, and lie on the beach for a few days drinking margaritas. Sounds delightful, doesn’t it. Well, here is your chance. The offers are unfortunately only good for travel through the end of May, but that still gives you a bit of time to head south of the border.

Wow, Excellent Deal on Flights to Mexico City

mexico-city.jpgSometimes you come across airline deals that make you saw “wow”. Repeat with me here, “wow”. What we are wowing about today is the price of a round-trip ticket from New York to Mexico City. Prices on flights to Mexico, in general, can be a bit expensive with prices to Mexico City, specifically, being very expensive.

Such is not the case from now until January 3, 2007. If you purchase your ticket before then and fly to Mexico City by March 31, 2007, you can get yourself a nifty non-stop ticket aboard AeroMexico for the mere price of $289. That is less than the cost of flying to some parts of the east coast of the United States from New York. Wow, indeed.

Now that you have lost your breath, you’ll know what it feels like to be in Mexico City. The place is a big, urban sprawling mess that will take your breath away with its altitude, pollution, and, yes, charm. Don’t let the size of the city fool you, it does have its quaint areas and it does have sites that are well worth your time and money. For certain, check out the National Museum of Anthropology. It is another thing that will leave you saying Wow!
