Over the course of one year, fro June 2005 to June 2006, travel prices increased by 7.6%. It was .6% higher than the previous month of May, 2006.
Airfares have risen nearly 6% – 3.1% in the last month – and a hotel will set you back 4.5% more.
Gas is the biggest burden, with an increase of almost 34%.
