Cheap Hawaii Summer Flights

hawaii_rainbow.jpgHawaii always seems like the place to go when it is snowing outside and the winter cold is nipping at your nose, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t consider a trip to paradise when it is warm at your home. The Hawaiian Islands are pretty all year round and a relaxing trip to them can cure the blues no matter the season.

The weather in Hawaii is just about the same in January as it is in June: perfect. The biggest difference is that there is less rain in the summer months.

Weather in Hawaii is very consistent, with only minor changes in temperature throughout the year. There are really only 2 seasons in Hawaii: summer (called Kau in Hawaiian) from May to October and winter (Ho’oilo) from November to April. The average daytime summer temperature at sea level is 85º F. (29.4 C) while the average daytime winter temperature is 78º (25.6º C). Temperatures at night are approximately 10º F. lower.

The best part about Hawaii in the summer is that it is usually cheaper to fly there. Aloha Airlines demonstrates that with some super cheap flights to Hawaii from California this spring and summer.

Aloha means Hello, Good-Bye and Great Fares to Hawaii

triathlon_swim270.jpgThe New Year brings new hope and all those new resolutions that you’ll probably break after about a week. If one of your resolutions is to get into better shape, perhaps you could set your sights high and start training for the Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii. Doesn’t a 2.4 mile swim followed by a 112 mile bike and topped off by a 26.2 mile run sound like an ideal way to spend a day?

Personally, I get exhausted just watching those athletes killing themselves on television, but now it is possible to see them up close and personal for not so much money. Aloha Airlines has some tasty spring fares that make the enchanted islands of Hawaii that much more enchanted. You can fly from Oakland to Kailua-Kona, home of the Ironman Triathlon, for less than $400 round-trip. Even for a destination that has frequent airline deals, this is a pretty good one.

Moreover, Aloha Airlines also has discounted flights between the Hawaiian Islands, making it possible for you to cover even more ground than one of those triathletes. Whether it is for sport, relaxation or simply to escape the fact that you failed miserably with your get in shape resolution, Hawaii is one place you should be resolved to visit this year.

All the best to each and everyone of you in 2007.

The Aloha Airlines Our Birthday is Your Birthday Giveaway entitles every passenger traveling on a paid ticket to receive a certificate that can be redeemed for a free interisland roundtrip ticket on Aloha when they fly on their birthday in 2007.

“We’re grateful for all the support we’ve gotten over the years,” said David A.
