AirTran’s Incredible Autumn and Winter Ticket Deals

airtran.jpgYou’re probably familiar with a discount airline like Southwest, but you might not be all that familiar with AirTran. After checking out their fall and winter ticket sale, it is definitely an airline worth getting to know. In addition to being very cheap, AirTran offers nice little features like onboard satellite radio to help pass the time while you are cruising at 50,000 feet. AirTran flies to a lot of major airports in the United States and if you purchase a ticket on one of their flights before October 17, 2006, you are going to get a real deal. You won’t find these prices in the major airline search engines, so head on over to the AirTran website and see for yourself how much you can save.

Set Sail for San Diego

san-diego-zoo.jpgSan Diego is one of those cities that is interesting for about three days. It is near some beautiful beaches, it has a revitalized downtown area with cultural attractions, there are loads of sailors who live there and can be fun to stare at for a few minutes, and there is, of course, the world famous San Diego Zoo. If that weren’t enough, it is not very far from Mexico and there are some mountains within driving distance too. Oh, and the weather there ranges from perfect to perfect.

Ok, maybe three days isn’t enough to do all that, but it a start. It also is the minimum length stay as part of a phenomenal package deal put together by our friends at Priceline.

All the Virgins are Headed to London

40YOVirgin.jpgI can almost taste the crumpets and tea right now. Flights to London are getting cheaper by the moment. Virgin Atlantic has a sweet deal that will fly you across the pond from spots on the East Coast for under $300. That’s cheaper than flying across the country! Think of all the money you’ll have to spend on pints of beer and evenings hanging out with the royal family.

The travel window for this deal is fairly generous, with the standard blackouts around holiday time still in effect.

As a huge soccer fan, I am tempted to pick up a ticket myself and head to the UK for a long weekend of footie fun. What are you waiting for? The werewolves of London are calling your name.
