I’m in an international travel mood this week, so I thought I’d point out these deals from my favorite transatlantic airline: Unbelievably low fares on Air France right here.

In some cases you have to change planes in Paris, but in other cases you can fly all the way from your home airport to your destination in Europe without having to stop.

The people at LessNo seem to do a really good job at getting international flight deals, so it’s worth taking a couple of minutes to see what they can offer compared to any other prices you are seeing. This year is tough on all of us with high fuel prices and whatnot, so having another tool to use is welcome for any traveler.
Cheap international flights are easier to find
Speaking of topics I’ve mentioned before, Vayama is a fairly new airfare site that has some sort of crazy way of getting cheap international airline tickets: Vayama.com – Save up to 63% on international flights.
How they get these great deals remains a mystery to me. It turns out my previous theory that they send out goons to threaten the various airline executives until Vayama gets its way was unfounded. At the time the theory made sense, but their attorneys have pointed out at least a few flaws in my reasoning, so back to the drawing board, I guess.
Last-minute flights are worth a look
I know I’ve mentioned this deal before in this column, but I think it’s worth pointing out again for anyone who isn’t a regular reader: Last minute flight deals at Expedia.com
These aren’t technically “last-minute” deals because most of the flights leave around 10 days from now, but who really waits until they are about to head to the airport to buy their plane ticket anyway? That would be a good way to flush most of your travel money down the drain because airlines have long charged their absolute highest prices for people who walk up to the ticket counter empty handed just before a flight.

One of the things I really like about Southwest is everything they do is budget oriented so you know you are getting a pretty good deal. The people at Expedia have sorted their hotel and resort ratings to show only the top 1% of their inventory. Many of these places are on the expensive side of things, but not all of them, and that’s where it gets interesting. It proves you don’t have to spend a fortune in some cities to stay in one of the nicest hotels in that region.
This might be the best deal we’ve seen in a long time

The most amazing thing is once you click on that link you’ll see that they are listing some of these trips for under $200 per person.
