Is there anything more American than the shopping mall? Many a teenage kid has experienced his first kiss in one, usually somewhere near the Orange Julius stand. I’m not sure what they put in those drinks but there must be a chemical that brings out the worst of teenage hormones. Cheap Flights to Santiago, Chile

Every time I look at a map of Chile I think that all of its people must be long and narrow. The country is more than 4,600 kilometers long, while only 430 kilometers wide at its widest east-to-west point. In essence, it is the same size as the state of Texas only stretched out like an image in a funhouse mirror. The first year I lived in Washington, DC we had a ton of snow during the winter. The gloomy days were endless and the cold had even the heartiest of souls complaining.
