Now that I have gotten that out of the way, let me tell you that not owning a car can be a bit of a drag when you want to get away for the weekend. Walking can only take you so far and riding a bus can be borderline torture. Hitting friends up for rides is a great way to lose friends.

One simple solution is to rent a car for a couple of days. Rates are usually higher on the weekend, but for the next few months that isn’t the case at Budget rental cars.
