• Look Beyond the Big Sites – You probably already know of sites like Travelocity, Expedia, and Orbitz – and you should definitely check their package deals sections to see if they’ve got any 5-star luxury travel deals that look appealing. But don’t forget to also check sites like Priceline, Booking Buddy and Funjet Vacations. The first two specialize in cheaper travel deals, and the latter specializes in vacation packages.
• Get the Alerts – Many booking sites have regular emails they send out with their latest and greatest travel deals, including vacation packages along with flights and hotel stays. Sign up for those and you’ll be able to act on the news as soon as the email goes out rather than waiting until you’ve got enough time to check each individual site. It’s always worth a look.
