Virgin America is a low-cost US-based airline, which began service in August 2007. It is headquartered in Burlingame, California and its main base is San Francisco International Airport. The company’s aim is to provide low-cost flights between major metropolitan cities on the Eastern and Western Coast seaboards.

Currently, Virgin America flies to ten destinations throughout the US. Aside from its hub (San Francisco), the company uses Los Angeles’ LAX airport as focus city. Other destinations covered include: Seattle, Washington D.C., New York, Las Vegas, Boston, Fort Lauderdale, San Diego and Orange County.

Its British cousin, Virgin Atlantic, is known for providing stylish services at discounted prices and that’s exactly what Virgin America does as well.
